Meet the Happy Couple

How they met:                                 

Between softball games, Ken found time to audition for Grapevine's Runway Theatre's production of "Is There Life After High School". Meanwhile, after returning from a trip to Italy and making an appearance on NBC's Average Joe, Adam Returns, Trisha auditioned for the show as well.  Soon after the show opened, Ken and Trisha began dating and have been together ever since.

How they got engaged:                                 

After a few weeks of talking about marriage, Ken and Trisha went to dinner Friday, December 3, 2004.  The discussion at dinner was mostly about planning and that if they were going to get married, it needed to be in the summer.  This, of course, did not leave much time if Ken was going to wait until Spring before he got a ring.  Little did Trisha know that on that very day Ken had picked up the ring.  After dinner they went to Ken's house to grab a coat before heading to a friend's house for a party.  Ken grabbed more than the coat and asked Trisha to come look at the Christmas lights in front of his house.  While standing in the exact spot where they shared their first kiss, Ken got on his knee and asked for her hand in marriage.  She said, "Yes!"

Ken and Trisha were married at Tyler Street United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.
