Ashley's 5 years old! Can you believe it?! We can't, but she can! What a great time she is having growing up.
Christmas was a wonderful time of traveling to spending time with family. She was very surprised when Artie turned up at Maw Maw & Paw Paw house and again at Mimi & Willy's house. She has had a fabulous time with lots of new toys from Santa. She especially loves the pogo stick and scooter Santa brought her. Every day she gets a little better at the pogo stick! The winter weather has been pretty fair for the most part so far, so a lot of time has been spent outside riding and bouncing.
We were not too sad to go back to school after our break only because we knew Ashley's Royal 5th birthday party was coming up soon! Lots of time was spent preparing the castle for the big event. Ashley's friends helped her slay a dragon, race carriages, and celebrate with a royal feast of cake and ice cream! Ashley had a wonderful birthday celebration and is very thankful for her family and friends who could help her celebrate.
Ashley's birthday was also recognized at school when her class enjoyed ice cream sandwiches in her honor. Things are getting back to normal with our daily routine. Ashley's back to her dance classes once a week. And the whole family has enjoyed playing with all of Ashley's new toys from Christmas and her birthday.
