Ashley has had a great summer so far! She is loving all the different things we do every day. She loved every minute of helping Mommy get ready for Addie's birthday party. The best part was helping to put icing on the cookies and getting the very sweet icing all over her hands! She has had a great time playing with all of Addie's new toys she got for her birthday and has spent a lot of time playing in her kitchen. Every day she servers different kinds of cupcakes and chocolates with tea or lemonade.
Ashley took two trips this month. First she managed to sit through a long car ride to the great state of Mississippi. She entertained herself by signing, reading, and finding every American flag between Texas and Mississippi. She enjoyed playing with cousins and seeing all kinds of new people while she was there. She really enjoyed staying at the hotel and is still talking about the beds! Ashley also took a trip to stay with Mimi and Willy. She was most excited about making blueberry muffins and swimming in Willy's pool. It was a real treat to be able to swim every day. Mimi had all kinds of different toys to play with while she was there; and, Ashley found all the Hello Kitty stuffed animals for every one to sleep with at night. Ashley had a really good trip.
Ashley enjoyed the fireworks on the 4th of July. It was the loud booms on the 3rd of July that woke her up while she was sleeping that she didn't like. She had a good time watching all the colors light up the sky. She's looking forward to more summer fun this coming month!
