Ashley has had a great month! She seems to have a good time no matter what she is doing. She enjoyed a short trip to Mimi & Willy's house. She was really good in the car going and coming. She has been preparing for her 1st dance recital and would show us some of her "moves" as it was getting closer. She also introduced us to (as she calls it) her "big finished!" Ashley is quiet the character! Every one had a really good time at the dance recital.
"Bug Day" at school was fun at home too as we picked out what kind of bug for Ashley to dress up as. She first put on the butterfly wings and ran around the living room. Then she tried out the bumble bee wings. In the end, the bumble bee made it to school, but Ashley had so much fun in the butterfly wings too. (Addie wore a butterfly outfit and had antennas also). It was really funny to see 2 sets of antennas bopping in the back seat of Daddy's truck on their way to school.
Ashley had just as much fun celebrating every one's birthdays as they had having a birthday. She was so excited to go shopping with Daddy for Addie's presents. Then, she was excited when all the presents were wrapped. Then to see the birthday cake! She giggled and danced around! She tried so hard to let Addie open her birthday presents by herself, but she just couldn't take it and had to rip the paper too! At Emma's party Ashley swam with the big kids and then really enjoyed playing with Henry & Emma at their house afterwards. For Daddy's birthday Ashley gave him a gift card so he can download more music for them to play & sing together on Band Hero. She was so happy for Daddy. The day after the parties was a little bit of a let down when she asked, "Who's birthday is it today?" When Mommy said all the birthday's were over Ashley was a little sad, but it didn't last long because she played with all of Addie's new toys. Ashley also has been a great help to Mommy with preparations for Addie's upcoming birthday party!
