Merrily she goes along! Ashley brings so much joy to those around her. She sings and laughs and gives the best hugs! She loves helping to take care of her baby sister! And with that it has also been a month filled with band-aids! It's something about the warmer weather and having more skin exposed. Ashley has gone through numerous boxes of band-aids. And all for real scrapes, not just because she wants a band-aid.
We've had some great weather for flying a kites. Ashley and Daddy went outside to try her kite the Easter Bunny brought her. She really has enjoyed it. She likes chasing the shadow of the kite. Ashley really enjoys playing outside in general. On days that we get home early enough we will go to the park across the street from our house. She's always asking to go!
Ashley loves school. Recently her class has been learning about different things in the kitchen. Combine school and the kitchen and Ashley's in heaven! At home she has even helped Mommy prepare a few meals in the kitchen.
Ashley had an adventure with Daddy when the two went to see her cousin graduate from college. The entire way there she pointed out every American flag an would say, "That's an American flag like at school." Let's just say there are a lot of American flags out there and Ashley can find every single one!
Another morning Mommy was taking Ashley and Addie to school. As we watched Daddy drive off Ashley said, "Daddy's truck is too loud." Ashley always has something to add to our conversations. What a delight!
