This little girl is growing up so fast! It's amazing to see the world through her eyes. Ashley started off the month with a trip to Bitty's Store (aka: American Girl). While we were there Bitty Baby took a bath, had her diaper changed, and tried out a different stroller. Oh what fun! Bitty came home with all kinds of new things to play with! Ashley soon discovered Bitty needed socks and told Mommy and Daddy, "We've got to go back to the Bitty store to get socks!"
This was also a very active month for Ashley. We had fun with our Game Night friends. Ashley loves to see her friends and talks about them until we see them the next time. She really liked Preston's stethoscope. Ashley enjoyed celebrating another friend's birthday. She loved every minute of climbing up and down and all around! And she's still enjoying the balloon we got to bring home. She also showed her support of both Drew and Peyton in the supper bowl.
The girl is a natural born dancer! She loves to move to the music and is the clumsiest thing around! She can twirl and jump, but watch out when she starts walking! Her forehead is healing very well from her run in with the wall on her birthday. On the other hand she has fallen off benches, tripped over her feet, and slipped more than a time or two. Thankfully she laughs it off, or for more serious injuries asks for the boo, boo bunny. The boo, boo bunny can make anything feel better!
Ashley is a great helper around the house. If she hears Mommy open the dishwasher she is right there to help take everything out. And, like before, is very helpful when it's time to take things out of the dryer. She has even been known to help put a few things in the washing machine. And when it comes to Addie she is always right there ready to get a bib, a spoon, a diaper, or what ever little sister might need. For the most part Ashley is very helpful when it comes time to clean up her toys.
Unfortunately, Ashley was also sick a couple of days this past month and had to miss a little school. But that gave her more time at home to enjoy playing with all her new toys from Christmas and her birthday. Ashley can play hard from morning till night, and sometime in the middle of the night if Mommy and Daddy aren't careful!
