Summer is here and every one loves it! Ashley's spending time with all kinds of friends and family!
First Ashley spent most of a week with Henry and Emma. First she went to their house, then they met in the middle, and finally they came to her house. Ashley loves to follow Henry where ever he goes! And Emma has the best funny faces to make Ashley laugh. Then Ashley had a Beach Party at Vacation Bible School and finally got used to the church nursery while Mommy volunteered with other children. A few days later Ashley got a visit from Maw Maw and Aunt Ne.
For the Fourth of July Ashley hung out with the big kids and Adam. Ashley forgot to bring her swimsuit, but that didn't stop her from splashing around on the Slip N' Slide with Emilie until she finally fell in! Ashley had more fun chasing the 3 cats than the cats had running from Ashley. We hope Jeremy and Emilie can find the cats after they went into hiding from Ashley.
Then Ashley started her summer on the road! First stop...the 2008 Goins Gathering in Alexandria, Louisiana. Ashley had so much fun on the back porch with Maw Maw and Aunt Ne watching birds and squirrels. At the gathering Ashley had a fun filled day of playing in the pool with all her second cousins. She fell asleep in her car seat before Daddy got out of the neighborhood.
In between all of this Ashley's been playing with all her toys, going to swim lessons, checking books out at the library, and sleeping a lot! What better way to spend the summer! Up next, more miles in the car seat.....
