Ashley's such a happy girl! And her teachers say she is very funny! She keeps them cracking up with all her "looks" she gives them. And don't get in between her and the high chair if it's feeding time! Ashley loves to eat...at school that is. She doesn't eat as well at home for Mommy and Daddy unless it's bread. Ashley LOVES bread! This month she had her first piece of pizza that her friend Jillian shared with her. Yum! Yum!
After the excitement of her birthday she has really enjoyed playing with all her new toys. She loves anything that makes music. She keeps Mommy and Daddy moving catching all the balls that are flying around. With all her new toys Ashley has found a new love for her Bumbo. She will get in and out of it over and over! Every day Ashley's walking a little bit more. It won't be long until she can walk all by herself. She took her first independent steps February 2nd.
The highlight this month has been swimming lessons. Ashley's really loving being in the water. She tries out some of her "moves" in the bathtub, but it's just not the same! She's figuring out the whole splashing thing. Ashley will go under water for a few seconds and loves the slide.
It was a musical Valentine's Day for Ashley this year. She got a singing balloon from Daddy, a singing Dragon from Aunt Ne, and a singing Monkey from Ms. Berna her teacher. She keeps pointing to all of them and "telling" us she wants to hear the music!
