Another great month! Ashley's a traveling girl!! This month Ashley made two more car trips. First she went to Mississippi to see Mommy's cousin get married. That was a lot of fun! She had another boat ride and got to see so many family members she had never met before. Then she went to Shreveport to see more family and friends. While she was there she went to her first pumpkin patch. Halloween was interesting. She didn't know what to think of the pumpkin "gut". It was the first pumpkin Daddy and Ashley carved. Ashley dressed up as a pumpkin to greet the trick-or-treaters. She didn't know what to think of that either. Next year should be a lot of fun. Ashley enjoyed getting Halloween cards in the mail.
Ashley started drinking from her sippy cup and tried a couple of new vegetables. Asparagus and zucchini are now regulars in her diet. She still isn't too sure about bananas and never turns down puffs. She also continues to love to laugh. At daycare the teachers say she laughs at everything. She is spending more time outside, where she touched grass for the first time and really did not know what to think about it. She quickly lost interest in the grass as another plane flew over. She really loves planes and looks up everytime we go outside.
Ashley's biggest accomplishment this month has been her movement! The girl can get around!!!! It might take her a minute but nothing is ever out of reach! She scoots, twists, rolls, and crawls until she gets where she wants to go. She's starting to pull herself up using different things and likes to pull down all of her books off of her table in her room. Mommy and Daddy's days of sitting back and watching are numbered!
