Ashley has been very busy during her 7th month. For starters she's seeing the world from a whole new view...sitting! Ashley started sitting by herself this month and has really enjoyed playing with more and more of her toys that she can reach on her own now. And, she really likes sitting up in the bathtub, what a whole new world!
She also has finally mastered eating from a spoon. Mommy and Daddy are so happy Ashley is enjoying eating all kinds of veggies: peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, squash, and cereal. So far there isn't any thing she won't eat! Fruits are on the menu for next month. Proof of her eating is on one of the videos below.
This month Ashley went on a very long road trip to meet her Great Grandparents and several Great Aunts and Uncles and cousins. She didn't get to meet them all, but looks forward to seeing every one in October. Ashley was great during her 20 hours on the road with Mommy and MiMi. She slept, ate, and played in her car seat without any crying. When we got home Ashley was so excited to be back in her exersaucer that she turned herself around to play with every single toy and squealed with glee! Ashley got back in the car to go to Shreveport to meet lots of Daddy's college friends. Ashley stayed in a hotel for the first time, and again, she did great! She got to see some of Daddy's favorite places to hang out during his college years.
