The happiest one year old ever! Addie is so happy all the time. She loves to laugh and giggle from the time she gets up in the morning until the time she goes to sleep at night. You know when she is tired because she will suck her thumb, and she must be growing because she has really enjoyed her many nap times this month! She also had 2 more teeth appear and we think a few more are on the way.
Addie had her first birthday party with family. She didn't need much help to figure out what to do with the presents. She really enjoyed all the paper and boxes. One in particular seemed to be extra yummy to her! She also loved having so many people at the house to play with during the party. When it is just the two girls she can always find something to get into on her own. She frequently likes to take all the books off of her book shelf. As soon as Mommy can pick up, she gets them off again! Addie really likes playing in big sister Ashley's room, especially the kitchen!
Addie was a great trooper in the car for 2 trips this month. First she made her way to Mississippi for the first time to visit great grandparents and more cousins. Addie didn't mind her car seat and was such a sweet girl the entire trip. She even took her first few steps while we were there. Then she took another trip in the car to stay with Mimi and Willy for several days. Again, she was so good in the car both going and coming home. She had a blast playing with different toys, pouncing on Ashley, and walking all on her own. In just a few short days Addie has gone from standing a few seconds to getting up from the floor on her own and walking all around the house! And she really enjoyed floating in the pool.
