Oh what fun! Addie's one! She's 24 pounds and 30 1/2 inches long. Addie's the happiest baby ever! We've had a fun time this month getting ready for Addie's 1st birthday party.
Addie got over an ear infection that didn't want to go away for a long time. We're so glad that is over! She continues to move around and go just about any where she wants to go using her walking toy. And she's fast! You'd better watch out! She loves to get into everyone's toys (Daddy and Ashley) so you better take a second look before leaving things out and about! Addie's starting to say "Ashley" if you listen carefully.
Addie had a quick trip to Houston to see Mimi & Willy. She is a great car rider. She had a good time finding more toys to play with and really enjoyed being outside on the swing set. More wagon rides please!
The June birthday celebrations started and haven't stopped! Addie had a celebration with Mommy, Daddy, and Ashley on her birthday. She absolutely loved the cake! She might be slow to eat some table food, but this girl knows cake is good! She was a little slow getting the paper off of her presents because she likes to put the paper in her mouth. Ashley was a great big sister and tried her best to keep Addie focused. It was fun night.
Addie then helped her cousin, Emma, celebrate her birthday the next day. The following day Addie helped Daddy start celebrating his birthday nice and early in the morning! He didn't seem to mind on this particular day! For his birthday Addie gave him a movie (because he has so much time to watch a movie with a one year old)! Addie will have another birthday party with more family members coming up soon! The party never ends for Addie!
