Addie has had a month of transitions as she is growing up so quickly. She has reluctantly started transitioning to one nap a day. Some days she just can't make it and takes two because it's hard work pulling up on everything! Addie has had several "incident" reports at school from trying to pull up on furniture but falls and bruises her face. As soon as one bruise goes away she falls on the other side of her face. She loves moving around and pulling up! This month she has gone from crawling, to pulling up, to furniture surfing, to walking! That's right, she is taking steps!
Along with moving around every where Addie is also transitioning to more and more table foods. She is trying to figure the whole thing out but tends to stick with veggies as her favorite. She does not, however, have a problem eating pancakes. She ate 3 at one sitting the other day! Addie's third tooth, first one on the top, started coming in at the end of the month. Yeah!
Addie enjoys her time at school with her friends and teachers. Her teachers like to take her to see Ashley's room and when Ashley is on the playground she can pull herself up to the window to look and wave. Addie has also had the opportunity to start painting at school. Her teacher said she really enjoyed playing with the paint while some of her friends tried to eat the paint. It was a sad day when Addie's first friend, Bella, left school. Addie and Bella would get excited when they saw each other at the door. Addie would start shaking her arms and legs. Bella is no longer in Addie class:(
