Addie's first Christmas! What a blessing and celebration! Addie is such a sweet girl! She absolutely loves to smile and laugh. And she has plenty of entertainment while watching Ashley!
We started and ended the month with teeth. Addie got her first tooth on December 20th and her second tooth popped up on January 10th. She had a rough couple of days and night surrounding those days, but it was all worth it to see those 2 little teeth.
Addie did really well with all the traveling for the Christmas holidays. She didn't let the many hours in the car seem to bother her. Santa was very good to Addie with all the new toys he gave her. She really likes the little birds and balls. She especially likes the giant book he gave her. She sat in her book for long periods of time discovering all the different parts. She would just sit and watch and watch as Henry, Emma, and Ashley were running circles around her. You could see it in her face that she can't wait to be in the middle of all that! Just wait until next year!!
Addie also participated in the Blessing of the Babies at church in early January. Ashley was very excited to go to "big church" with mommy and daddy for Addie's blessing. After the blessing, when we sat down in our seats, Ashley looked at me and said, "Addie did a good job with her blessing. I'm so proud of her!" I told her I was proud of her too!
