Addie's had a great month! She's now 17 pounds and 4 ounces and 26 inches long. The girl is growing! And she has discovered her hands. She can stare at her hands in amazement for long periods of time! Once she's done looking at them she likes to try to eat them! And she loves to use her voice. She talks and talks to any one who will listen. And she's pretty funny when she giggles. Addie has the most beautiful smile!
For the most part Addie's on a good schedule. She eats every 3-4 hours, plays for a good hour, and then sleeps for at least an hour and some times longer. Then she's ready to start it all over again! She's been waking up a lot at night so we're trying to phase out this habit as soon as possible. Every one needs more sleep at night!
Addie's firsts for this month have been going to one of Henry's football games, visiting the Galleria with Mommy, going to story time at the the library, and visiting the fire station. Addie had a lot to tell the fireman!
Addie's biggest accomplishments for this month have been to start eating cereal and rolling over! She has started eating cereal at night and doesn't seem to mind at all. The first couple of bits were a little strange, but she seems to really like it! Addie's been on the move all month. When she is laying on one side of her blanket you can turn around and in no time flat she'll be on the other side, or maybe even off the blanket entirely! She's been consistently rolling from side to side of several weeks. Now she rolled over all the way from her back to her stomach for the first time! Yeah Addie!
